  • 3 zucchini
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup of corn
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 squeezed garlic clove
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Red pepper
  • A spoonful of olive oil
  • Chopped basil

Side sauce ingredients:

  • 200 grams of plain yogurt
  • Crushed garlic clove
  • fresh dill

Prepare :

  • To get started, grate the zucchini and marinate it in salt 10 to 15 minutes
  • Then squeeze them as hard as you can with your hands or a towel to get rid of the excess salt and water.
  • Pour the grated zucchini into a large bowl and add the eggs, basil, corn and spices.
  • Using a spoon, mix well so that the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Add the flour and mix again until you get a kind of dough.
  • Make cakes with your own hands.

Grease a non-stick frying pan with a little oil (you can wipe it with a paper towel to reduce the amount of oil) and cook the donuts over medium heat. 3 to 5 minutesThen flip it over to the other side and cook it 5 to 7 minutesThen flip it one last time and cook it 3 minutes (Cover the pan during each cooking).

Serve on a platter while still warm and enjoy.

If you want a crispy, golden donut, you should definitely cook it in a skillet with a drizzle of olive oil. Cooking in the oven will make them dry and the cakes will turn into pancakes.
